12 weeks 4 days

Yeah, I am totally slacking on trying to blog this pregnancy.

I am now 12.5 weeks pregnant. Things are doing well, I guess. It's nerve-wracking, since I don't know for sure what's going on in my belly. I swear I'm feeling movements every once in a while, but since it's so early I keep second guessing myself with that. My belly just keeps getting rounder and I am definitely showing now. Morning sickness has also really eased up, which makes me happy but it also makes me think "oh no, is a pregnancy symptom disappearing?!" Yeah, I am a paranoid freak.  :)

Doctor appointment in 6 days and ultrasound a week from today! Ready to see this little bean!

I'll do a Christmas post later this weekend. We had such a great Christmas and I'm sad that it's already over.

10 weeks today!

Ok, now I feel like time is going be incredibly slowly. 2 more weeks and I will be out of this dreadful 1st trimester and hopefully this horrible morning sickness will finally end. This time around seems worse than Emma's pregnancy. I guess since I didn't have anything else to do buy lay down and sleep when I felt bad. Now I have 2 kids to feed, cloth, drive to various activities, etc. Because of that, I'm in such horrible moods here lately. Yesterday was the worst. I seriously laid on the couch and read a book on my Nook because I couldn't get up and face the day. Emma understands a little bit since she knows there's a baby making mommy sick. Poor Connor doesn't understand why I won't get up off my butt! LOL

Lets see.

Size of baby: a large nut? A small plum? Every site says something different.

Total Weight Gain: According to the doctor, not even half a pound. 104.2 at 7 weeks and then 104.4 at almost 10 weeks. Wii Fit at home has shown 2lbs I've gained. 101 to 103. So who knows. I'll just stick to the one that makes me gain the less! Hah.

Continuing symptoms: Morning sickness  is still going strong, breast tenderness (these things are HUGE) occasionally cramping, still that weird yellow discharge, and fatigue.

New symptoms this week: Nothing really, except for a bigger belly

Sleep: Pretty well, except when I have to sleep with Connor because he is a mess!

What I'm Eating: Lots of pasta and fruit. I try to eat eggs but baby doesn't seem to like those very much.

Special pregnancy moments: I guess just my belly starting to take on a more "pregnant" look. While I can still wear my jeans, all my shirts are a big no-no. Makes me look like I I have a roll of fat. Not attractive. Luckily my teeny tiny mama had a few loser shirts she wears to work that she has lent me.

Now my pic.

There's a little bump there now. This picture kind of lies though. I look happy and this was taken during the morning, but I am decidedly NOT happy. I was so sick to my stomach.

9w 3d appointment.

I'll just start from the beginning.

My appointment was originally supposed to be at 10:30 in the morning but that got pushed back until 130 so all of us ended up going to this appointment. Just slightly embarrassing to be parading 2 kids and a husband in when I was about to have a pap smear.haha.
I got weighed and weight at 9 weeks 104.4lbs. Not too shabby since 2 weeks ago I was 104.2. I'm about 2lbs lighter than I was with Connor at this point and dead on with Emma's. Blood pressure perfect, like always.

Pap smear came first. I guess I immediately started bleeding a bit when he started because my doctor said "you're going to spot a bit after this since it looks like I got things all stirred up". Ugh I hate that, especially since I hadn't spotted at all this entire time. It seems to be about gone today though so it was just about a 24hr thing. Anyway, he also went ahead and took a culture to see what the heck was going on with all these yeast infections.

Then, baby time! He found him/her right away and I immediately saw the little heart beating away. The doctor said he looks perfect and the baby kept moving it's little arms and legs around. I loved it! I'm measuring a bit small (9w 3d and was measuring 8w 5d) but he said that was perfect and wasn't going to change my due date at all. Since the heart seemed to be beating so well (around 160 bpm) I'm not concerned at his being a bit smaller. I think he'll catch up within the next few weeks or so.

Next appointment is set for January 5th. I get another ultrasound and there's a good chance we might know if it's a boy or girl. I'm feeling a bit more confident about baby #3 now.

I mean, lookie. I'm a bit biased, but this seems like an above average cute ultrasound pic, right? ;)

Craving, morning sickness, weight gain..oh, and did I mention morning sickness?

9 weeks 1 day along now. Some times I feel ok, like right now, and other times I can't even keep water down. My gut is saying girl, but I suddenly want a little boy since C really needs a little playmate of his own. Go figure..lol. We have an ultrasound in 2 days and I can't wait. I am anxious to make sure there really is a little baby in there and make sure he's healthy. Also, no spotting at all this pregnancy (knock on wood). If that continues, it will be my only pregnancy where I didn't have any. So fingers crossed on that!

As for weight gain, I'm so confused. Around the 4 week mark I was 101. Now at 9 weeks it has me at 103. No way have I gained 2lbs. I am super bloated, my boobs are huge, and I am really constipated. Like, I'd probably lose a pound if I could actually go..HAHA! Doctors office at 7 weeks had me at 104 so I really am all over the place. Going to make sure to drink more water and healthy snacking. I gained 45lbs with Emma and 31 with Connor, so I want to be in the 20's range this time around. Which means I really don't need to gain much in the first trimester. I'm also hoping to start up on the treadmill again. Toning these legs would help.

Will update after the ultrasound!
